- 16 Dongjak-daero 33-gil, Dongjak-gu, under five minutes on foot from Isu Station. Open Tue-Sun 12:00-23:00, closed Mondays.
- Tuna dumplings 15,000 won for ten; chive and cabbage 12,000 won each. Switching to pan-fried adds 2,000 won.
- Google Maps has it at 3.7 from 34 reviews, below this site’s usual bar of 4.5 with 100+. We are writing about it anyway because the dumplings are folded on the premises.

Who this is for
- Anyone after hand-folded rather than frozen dumplings
- Anyone curious what tuna does inside a dumpling
- Two people wanting dumplings plus one stir-fry
- Anyone who needs somewhere open from noon until late
Whether you see the kitchen or the dining room first tells you what kind of dumpling shop you have walked into. Here the folding table reaches your eye before the seats do.
Freshly folded dumplings stand in rows on a wooden tray, with the wrapper press and a large bowl of filling beside them. Nothing about it says reheated freezer stock.
The menu is three dumplings and eleven Chinese stir-fries. The dumplings are tuna, chive and cabbage, and what goes into each is written on the wall.
It is walkable from Isu Station and open from noon to eleven. What follows is the menu board exactly as it stood in September 2026.
The shop: five minutes from Isu Station, folding in plain sight
The address is 16 Dongjak-daero 33-gil, Dongjak-gu, Seoul. Walk north a short way from the interchange where Line 4’s Chongshin University (Isu) meets Line 7’s Isu; it sits one turn off the main road.
The room is plain: wooden tables, black chairs, a yellow menu board on the wall. Built for turnover rather than decoration.

Three dumplings, with the fillings posted on the wall
The new-menu banner spells out what is inside each dumpling – a level of disclosure you do not see that often.
- Tuna dumplings, 15,000 won (ten to a portion) – tuna, pork and garlic chives
- Chive dumplings, 12,000 won (ten to a portion) – garlic chives and pork
- Cabbage dumplings, 12,000 won (ten to a portion) – cabbage and pork
- Pan-fried instead of steamed: +2,000 won
The shop is named for the tuna, so that is the benchmark on a first visit. The tuna does not push it fishy; it cuts the fat of the pork, and the chives hold the aroma together.
The chive version is the most direct: chive in front, pork behind it. The cabbage one is the gentlest of the three thanks to the sweetness of the cabbage – a safe plate to add if someone at the table is new to all this.

Steamed or pan-fried: what 2,000 won buys
Steamed is the default. Add 2,000 won and the same dumplings come pan-fried. The choice is less about taste than about the occasion.
Steamed stretches the wrapper thin and keeps the juice inside. If you want to taste the dumpling itself, order them this way.
Pan-fried means one face pressed onto the griddle until it browns while the top stays soft, so a single plate gives you two textures at once. If drinks are involved, this is the one.

If you want both, order two plates and switch one to pan-fried. Two thousand won for an extra texture is fair.

Beyond dumplings: eleven stir-fries and a Tsingtao set
This is a dumpling shop and a neighbourhood Chinese restaurant at the same time. The middle column of the board is all stir-fries.
Beef with cheongyang chilli 26,000; spicy pork rib 25,000; guobaorou 25,000; spicy chicken wings 22,000; squid with garlic scapes 20,000; disanxian 19,000; aubergine 19,000; tomato and egg 18,000; chilli pork 18,000; shredded potato and pork 17,000; celery and pork 17,000.
There is rice and soup too: dried tofu with chilli 15,000; mapo tofu 15,000; egg soup 12,000; egg fried rice 10,000; corn noodles 10,000; bowl of rice 2,000. Deep-fried wood ear mushroom, at 28,000, is on as a new item.
A Tsingtao set pairs a stir-fry with a beer and knocks 1,000 won off: beef with cheongyang plus Tsingtao 32,000; spicy pork rib plus Tsingtao 31,000; guobaorou plus Tsingtao 31,000; spicy wings plus Tsingtao 28,000; squid with garlic scapes plus Tsingtao 26,000.

To drink: Tsingtao 7,000; beer 5,000; soju 5,000; iced black tea 4,000; soft drinks 3,000, plus Yantai sorghum spirit at 40,000 large or 20,000 medium, Zhuyeqing 40,000, Snow Field 30,000 and Kongfu Jia 50,000.

Map and practicalities: getting there, ordering, and the rating

Ordering. A line at the bottom of the board says single-person orders start at 10,000 won. Eating alone off one plate of dumplings is fine, but the minimum is worth knowing. For two, two plates of dumplings (one pan-fried) plus one stir-fry works; for four, two or three plates and a couple of stir-fries.
Origins. The bottom right of the board lists pork from Korea, beef from the United States, rice from Korea, chilli powder from China and corn from China.
On the rating, plainly. Google Maps has it at 3.7 from 34 reviews, below the bar this site normally uses (4.5 with at least 100). The reviews do split over the stir-fries. We are writing it up for the dumplings: pressed wrappers, filling mixed in house, and the contents posted on the wall. Go for those and it earns its price.

What is in the tuna dumplings?
The wall banner lists tuna, pork and garlic chives. The chive version is chives and pork; the cabbage one is cabbage and pork.
How many come in a portion?
Ten. Tuna dumplings are 15,000 won and the chive and cabbage versions are 12,000 won each.
Can I have them pan-fried?
Yes – switching from steamed to pan-fried adds 2,000 won.
What are the hours and closing day?
Closed Mondays; open Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00 to 23:00.
The rating is not high – is it still worth it?
